Our Declaration of FAITH

English

We are a Church that preaches the truth, grace, justice, and perfection of what Christ did on the cross for us and for all humanity.
(Rom. 5:18-19, Hebrews 2:11, Hebrews 10:10-14)
We believe that there is only one true God who lives eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
(John 1:1, John 1:14, Hebrews 1:1-2)
God is loving and merciful. He created the world and continues to govern and sustain it. He is the sovereign redeemer and the just judge of all people.
(Genesis 1:1-31, Genesis 2:1:7)
The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God. His words have supreme authority and are completely reliable as the measure of our faith and conduct. The Word of God is living, unique, and perfect.
(Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 119:105, Psalm 119:17-18)
All people, men and women, are made in the image of God. We are alive to love God and give Him glory by living holy lives and caring for His creation. But we have been corrupted by sin and deserve God's wrath and judgment.
We must accept His Son to be holy, saved, and righteous in God's eyes.

The Lord Jesus Christ was incarnated for us by a virgin birth. Truly divine and truly human, He lived on Earth without sin.

In obedience to the Word of God, we practice water baptism and Holy Communion.
(Matthew 3:13-17, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
Jesus died in our place on the cross. He paid the price for our sin and defeated evil. In this act of atoning sacrifice, Jesus did everything necessary to reconcile us to God once and for all.
(Hebrews 10:9-10, John 3:16-17)
Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to be with the Father in heaven. Now Jesus reigns as our mediator and savior.

Sinners can only be saved by the grace of God and through faith in Jesus Christ.
(John 3:16-17, Hebrews 10:14)
God the Holy Spirit is with us. He leads us to repentance and unites us with Jesus when we are born again (spiritually).
He gives us the power we need to preach His good news and to disciple, teach, train, and prepare new disciples to extend the kingdom of God.
(Ephesians 1:13-14, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
The Church, local and global, is a body of people empowered and authorized by God to use their lives and gifts to promote His justice and love in the world by preaching the Gospel of truth. We are the bride of Christ.

Él nos da el poder que necesitamos para predicar sus buenas nuevas y discipular, enseñar, capacitar y preparar nuevos discípulos para extender el reino de Dios.

La Iglesia, local y global, es un cuerpo de personas empoderadas y autorizadas por Dios para usar su vida y sus dones para promover su justicia y amor en el mundo. Predicando el Evangelio de la verdad. Somos la novia de Cristo.
