Our Declaration of FAITH

We believe that there is only one true God and He lives eternally in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe God is loving and gracious. He created the world and continues to rule and sustain it. He is the sovereign redeemer and righteous judge of all people.
We believe the Bible, the Old and New Testament Scriptures, are the inspired word of God. His words have final authority and are trustworthy in all matters of life, faith and conduct.
We believe that all people, male and female are made in the image of God. We were created to love God and bring Him glory by living holy lives and caring for His creation. But we have been corrupted by sin and deserve God’s anger and judgement.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ took on flesh for us by virgin birth. Jesus was truly divine and truly human and He lived on earth without sinning.
We believe that Jesus died in our place on the cross. He paid the price for our sin and defeated evil. In this act of atoning sacrifice Jesus did everything necessary to reconcile us with God.
We believe that God the Son, Jesus, is risen from the dead and ascended to be with the God the Father in heaven. Now Jesus reigns as our mediator and saviour.
We believe that sinners can only be saved by God’s grace and through faith in Jesus Christ.
In obedience to Jesus’ instructions we practice water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s supper for believers.
We believe that God the Holy Spirit is with us. He leads us to repentance and unites us with Jesus when we are born again. We believe in His progressive sanctifying work for living a consecrated life. The Holy Spirit gives us the power we need to comprehend the scriptures, to preach the good news, to train Jesus’ disciples and extend His kingdom.
We believe in, and practice the baptism with the Holy Spirit as an experience subsequent to salvation, with the evidence of speaking in tongues. We believe in the continuation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as described in the Bible and we believe in divine healing.
We believe in the Church, the priesthood of all believers. As the people of God, we are called to worship Him continually, to reflect God’s character to the world, to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, care for the needy and promote justice in our community.
We believe that Jesus will come back again to complete His purposes and promises. He will take the people He has saved into eternal life and send the lost who reject Him into eternal condemnation. He will establish a new heaven and a new earth.

Creemos que hay un solo Dios verdadero y que vive eternamente en tres personas: Dios el Padre, Dios el Hijo y Dios el Espíritu Santo.
Creemos que Dios es amoroso y compasivo. Él creó el mundo y continúa gobernándolo y sosteniéndolo. Él es el redentor soberano y el juez justo de todas las personas.

Creemos que el Señor Jesucristo se hizo carne por nosotros mediante el nacimiento virginal. Jesús era verdaderamente divino y verdaderamente humano, y vivió en la tierra sin pecar.
Creemos que Jesús murió en nuestro lugar en la cruz. Él pagó el precio por nuestro pecado y derrotó al mal. En este acto de sacrificio expiatorio, Jesús hizo todo lo necesario para reconciliarnos con Dios.
Creemos que Dios el Hijo, Jesús, ha resucitado de entre los muertos y ascendió para estar con Dios el Padre en el cielo. Ahora Jesús reina como nuestro mediador y salvador.
Creemos que los pecadores solo pueden ser salvos por la gracia de Dios y por medio de la fe en Jesucristo.
En obediencia a las instrucciones de Jesús, practicamos para los creyentes el bautismo en agua por inmersión y la Santa Cena del Señor.
Creemos que Dios el Espíritu Santo está con nosotros. Él nos guía al arrepentimiento y nos une a Jesús cuando nacemos de nuevo. Creemos en Su obra sanctificadora progresiva para vivir una vida de consagración. Él nos da el poder que necesitamos para comprender las escrituras, predicar Sus buenas nuevas, formar a Sus discípulos y extender Su reino.
Creemos en el bautismo con el Espíritu Santo como una experiencia subsecuente a la salvación, con la evidencia física de hablar en lenguas, y lo practicamos. Creemos en la continuidad de los dones del Espíritu Santo tal como se describen en la Biblia y creemos en la sanidad divina.
Creemos en la Iglesia y en el sacerdocio de todos los creyentes. Como pueblo de Dios, estamos llamados a adorarle continuamente, a reflejar el carácter de Dios ante el mundo, a proclamar el Evangelio, a hacer discípulos, a cuidar de los necesitados y a promover la justicia en nuestra comunidad.
Creemos que Jesús regresará para completar Sus propósitos y promesas. Él llevará a las personas que ha salvado a la vida eterna y enviará a los perdidos que le rechazan a la condenación eterna. Él establecerá un cielo nuevo y una tierra nueva.
